Why use The IT Dept?The IT Dept believes in a proactive approach to IT support.
We prefer to prevent your problems happening, rather than responding to an emergency issue. Obviously this isn't always possible, but regular servicing of your computers can help to minimise sudden, unexpected down-time. With our Monthly Support Contract we charge you for an agreed number of hours support each month. We spend those hours on your site, maintaining all of your computers - PCs and Servers - to minimise the sudden failures which may otherwise occur. This is similar to servicing your car regularly to help prevent unexpected break-downs. This innovative method offers you excellent value for money, and greatly reduces the amount of unexpected failures you suffer. Obviously you also have use of our services, either within the monthly support agreement or at extra cost, for those unexpected outages as well. Smaller companies, or home users, may benefit more from our Remote Support Contract. For a fixed fee, per PC per month, we offer unlimited telephone and remote support for clients who have from 1 to 5 PCs. Any necessary call-outs are charged extra, of course, but the peace of mind that comes from knowing we are ready to help is invaluable. Remember, most IT Support companies will tie you in to a 12 month contract. Our contracts have a minimum term of only 3 months, with a 1 month cancellation period.
